First twice. Intesa Sanpaolo named once again “Bank of the year in Italy”, at the banker awards 2017

The FT Group’s THE BANKER magazine has awarded INTESA SANPAOLO as the “Bank of the Year in Italy” for the second year running. MD and CEO, Carlo Messina, thanked everyone at Intesa Sanpaolo for their contribution in achieving this coveted prize, considered to be the ‘standard for banking excellence’.
The award takes into consideration many criteria: among these, the business model based on capital strength and a mix of high-quality revenue proving Intesa Sanpaolo to be resilient and effective in responding to the challenges of changing market conditions. The Group has been also named “Bank of the Year in Serbia” with its subsidiary Banca Intesa Beograd, and “Bank of the Year in Croatia” with the subsidiary PBZ.
